Registration of trade marks

  • We prepare national, European and international trade mark applications at the relevant Offices
  • When providing trade mark registration services, first of all we thoroughly assess the registration capacity of a trade mark in terms of absolute grounds for refusal of registration.
  • We carry out trade mark examinations for potential conflicts with earlier protection rights on the territory of Poland, the European Union or selected countries in the world.
  • We have very extensive experience in opposition proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and the EU Intellectual Property Office
  • By cooperating with leading specialized law firms, we can carry out the process of trade mark registration in many countries outside the European Union, in particular: China, India, the Arab Emirates, the USA, Canada or South American countries.

The scope of the Law Firm's specialization includes matters concerning admissibility of parallel trade in the context of protection of exclusive rights to trade marks and other intellectual property rights and regulations on combating unfair competition. In particular, it concerns parallel trade in medicinal products, cosmetics and spare parts for cars.
